⚠️ Tip for a perfect recording:

If you intend to switch tabs or minimize the browser during recording:

  • Turn off image filters.
  • Disable webcam mirroring.

Why? Active visual resources can freeze the image if the page is not in the foreground.

⚠️ Tip for a perfect recording on mobile:

To prevent your video from freezing, keep this tab open and visible throughout the recording.

If you minimize the browser or switch tabs:

  • Your image will be frozen.
  • The audio will continue to be recorded normally.

Why? Phones pause the camera in the background to save battery and ensure your privacy, but keep the microphone active as it is a lighter task.

The best way to discover the potential of a tool is seeing it in action. If you use Gravador.Net in your daily life and recorded a tutorial teaching your tricks, we want to give visibility to your content.

How to send your video to our team:

  • Where to publish: Host your video on YouTube and make sure the privacy is set to Public.
  • Ideal duration: We recommend videos over 1 minute. This ensures enough time to show the interface and settings step by step.
  • What to show: Create content focused on practice. Show how you set up the screen, how to activate the microphone or how you use the Picture-in-Picture mode during a presentation.

Online Screen Recorder: User Guide

Finding recording software that is lightweight, free, and doesn't add watermarks to your videos has always been a frustrating task. Gravador.Net was designed to eliminate this barrier. It is a professional-grade web application that works natively in your browser, without requiring time-consuming downloads, complex installations, or account creation.

To deliver superior performance without slowing down your computer, our platform uses WebCodecs technology. In practice, this allows the site to access your own machine's hardware acceleration to process media. The result is .MP4 video files and .M4A audio with impeccable quality, ready to be uploaded to YouTube, shared on WhatsApp, or imported into professional video editors.

🔒 100% Local Processing (Your Privacy Guaranteed)
Most online services send your files to the cloud to be processed. We do the opposite. All recording, rendering, and saving happen exclusively within your computer. No video or audio data is sent to our servers. This architecture (Client-Side) ensures absolute secrecy, making the tool safe for recording confidential corporate meetings or private classes.

1. How to Record PC Screen and Online Meetings

Screen capture is the essential feature for those who create video lessons, record gameplays, or need to document meetings on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Knowing that these processes are usually long, we developed a system focused on your data security.

The End of Corrupted Videos: Auto-Split System

The biggest risk of recording long videos directly through the browser is the RAM memory limit. If you record two uninterrupted hours, the chances of the browser crashing and you losing all the material are very high. To neutralize this problem invisibly, Gravador.Net has Smart Cut (Auto-Split) technology.

Every 10 minutes of recording, our internal engine finishes that video block, saves the file to your local gallery securely, and starts recording the next block in fractions of a second. You won't notice any flickering screen or cuts in your voice. When you finish your one-hour meeting, you will have the content saved and divided into organized parts, eliminating the risk of losing hours of work due to a power outage.

Step by Step to Record Your Screen:

  1. Access the top menu of the site and click on the "Screen" tab.
  2. In the settings panel, activate the Microphone switch if you want to record your own voice during the explanation.
  3. Click the blue "Record Screen" button.
  4. The browser will open the system's standard window asking what you want to capture (a specific browser Tab, a program Window, or the Full Screen of your monitor).
  5. Make your choice and click share to start capturing.

Attention: How to Capture Internal Sound (Videos and Meetings)

This is the most common mistake among screen recorder users: finishing a meeting recording and realizing that only your own voice was recorded, while the other people were silent. The microphone does not capture the computer's internal sound clearly.

To solve this, when the browser permission window opens for you to choose the screen, look at the bottom of that window. You must check the "Share system audio" box. Only with this option activated will the recorder be able to capture the sound of the Meet call, the YouTube video you are showing, or your operating system sounds.

2. Voice Recorder: Create High-Fidelity Audio

Whether to start a podcast, record important voice notes, or record a voice-over for a video you are editing, our audio tool delivers professional results without the learning curve of complex editing software.

Music Industry Standard and Visual Feedback

We standardized audio export to .M4A (AAC codec) format. Widely used by high-quality streaming platforms and Apple devices, this format ensures clean voice capture free from compression noise, generating incredibly light files.

To make sure the audio is being captured (and don't waste time talking with a muted microphone), the tool has a spectrum visualizer. While you speak, the graph responds to your voice frequencies in real time. And there's more: in your recording gallery, the site automatically generates a visual "cover" showing the exact waveform of your audio, making it easier to identify files.

3. WebCam: Practical Filters and Strict Privacy Control

The WebCam function turns your camera into a content production tool. Unlike simple recording, the system renders the image on a Canvas, allowing you to apply filters and image adjustments in real time. The file is already saved with treated coloring, skipping the color correction stage in editing.

Intelligent Hardware Management (Your light turns off)

Leaving camera permission activated in a browser tab usually creates discomfort. To ensure your peace of mind and save your notebook battery, we implemented Visual Presence Sensors on the site. It works under strict rules:

  • If you switch to another browser tab to read a text...
  • If you scroll down the page to see your gallery and the camera frame leaves your view...
  • Or if the site window is minimized...

The platform cuts the connection with your camera and microphone instantly. Your webcam indicator light will turn off. The camera is only reconnected when you return to view the tool actively. You have the technical guarantee that you are not being accidentally monitored.

Photography Function (Quick Capture)

Found the perfect framing or ideal lighting with our filters? Just click the "📸 Photo" button. The system will immediately extract that video frame and download a high-quality PNG image to your computer.

4. Floating Mode (Picture-in-Picture)

Floating WebCam (PiP) mode is the favorite feature of teachers and content creators. It clips the video from your camera and turns it into a small borderless window that is always visible on top of all other windows of your operating system.

How to use it in practice?

  • Presentation of Classes and Lectures: You can open your slides in full screen in PowerPoint or open a PDF file and position your camera in the corner of the screen, maintaining eye contact with your audience while explaining the material.
  • Hybrid Recording (Monitor + Face): A powerful technique is to activate the WebCam PiP mode, then go back to the site and start the Screen Recording. The resulting video will show everything you do on the computer along with your reaction in the corner of the screen. A perfect format for YouTube.

Frequently Asked Questions and Technical Support

Will the site consume all my computer memory if I record a lot?

No. We developed an optimized data architecture. Raw files are temporarily stored in a local database of your browser (IndexedDB). The gallery where you view your recordings uses the On-Demand Loading (Lazy Load) method. This means that the site generates only very light static images (in WebP format) to represent your videos. The heavy video is only loaded into the computer's RAM the millisecond you decide to Play or start the Download.

Can I pause a long recording and continue later? Does the file not corrupt?

You can pause safely. The biggest failure of common online recorders is audio and video desynchronization when the user pauses capture. To circumvent this, our code engineering issues a command to the graphics card to create a clean Keyframe exactly at the moment you click "Resume". The final video will have a continuous and perfect flow, merging the section before and after the pause without freezing.

Can I use the tool without an internet connection (Offline)?

Yes, Gravador.Net has been certified as a Progressive Web App (PWA). If you are using a modern browser, you will notice an installation icon in the address bar. By installing, the site gets an icon on your desktop and starts running as independent software. From then on, you can open the program, record your screen, audio, and camera and save your videos without needing any type of Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
